How to extract .ISO files with Winrar.

ISO is not a file format that Windows can open natively. An ISO file is an image of a CD/DVD. Typically you would be able to use a burning program like Nero, or ImgBurn, to then burn that ISO file directly to a disk.

To extract an .ISO file, I personally recommend Daemon Tools
But it can also be extracted by a small software called Winrar.

To extract the file, Right-click on it and select 'Add to Archive' option. Now winrar will begin making an archive. This may take some time depending upon the size of the file.

After the archive is created, Right-click again on the file and select the 'Extract Files' option. Again, winrar will begin extracting the file but this time, instead of the .ISO file the contents of the file will be extracted.

Now, all the files will be extracted out of the .ISO file and can be used directly.
